I just finished reading Miriam Toews Fight Night. I highly recommend it. Miriam Toews captures the struggles of three generations of women in a humorous and thought provoking manner. She also adds in her nod to local Manitoba locations for a treat to her hometown/Province. I’m glad to see it was short listed for this years Giller prize.

My next books to read from the list are Probably Ruby and The Strangers.
