Janika Oza is the author of the novel A History of Burning, an instant national bestseller in Canada and a New York Times Editor’s Choice. She is the winner of a 2022 O. Henry Award and the 2020 Kenyon Review Short Fiction Award. She has received support from Bread Loaf, Tin House, VONA, and The Millay Colony, and her stories and essays have appeared in publications such as The Best Small Fictions 2019 Anthology, Catapult, Prairie Schooner, and The Adroit Journal. She lives in Toronto.
