Interview / Entrevue
I had a terribly messy room,so I accidentally hid a lot of things from my parents. But I never hid booksfrom them, I did however hide a book they gifted to me, something about my changing body. I hid that one away from my friends, so they would never catch on that my body, like theirs, was changing.
I’ve been thinking about this one a lot, and honestly,I have a book quote tattooedon me,but I don’t think it’s my favouriteI think I just like the way it looked/sounded at the time. (Ah youth!)No lines have come to mind, I’ve tried looking through my favourite books, to find a line that would suffice, but nadda. There’s a book I read over and over to my kids about a dog that’s also a potato, one of the lines is “Tomatoad joins him in a band!”A tomatothat’s also a toad. They laugh and laugh so that one is my favourite for now.
Clean desk when I’m not writing but thinking a lot about writing, cluttered desk when I actually begin.
Let’s not open that Pandora’s box.
I’d like to build something. A small deck or something. I enjoy working with my hands and like tedious manual labour. Maybe even a shed, I’d like to be handier than I say I am.
