Carol Harvey Steski is a poet who grew up in Winnipeg. Her debut poetry collection, rump + flank, (NeWest Press) sheds light on what bodies—especially female bodies—endure, probing the full range of experiences from pleasure and hope to deep loss and trauma. Harvey Steski's poems have appeared in the anthology Another Dysfunctional Cancer Poem Anthology and several literary magazines including The Temz Review, CAROUSEL, Room, Prairie Fire and CV2. She won first place in FreeFall’s 2019 poetry contest and was nominated for The Pushcart Prize. A settler, Harvey Steski now lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter where she works in corporate communications.
